Requirement and guidance for submitting papers

Call for Papers is now open and will close July 21st, 2017. If selected, you will receive an honorarium of $200 and notified via email.

What to know

Please note that we use Google Docs to capture all of the submissions and you will not receive an email that it was submitted. Don’t worry! We got them and will review.

There are two types of talks – the regular 50 minute talks and a condensed 30 minute (called stable talks). Please specify which one you would like to do when doing the call for papers submission.

Submission

Thank you for submitting and regardless of which way it goes – we truly appreciate the contribution to HaitiCyberCon and making it another amazing year.

Requirements

The conference is soliciting literature review, survey, business case study and research papers and
comments including, whilst not limited to, the following areas of interest:
  • Submissions may only be entered by researchers/speakers (no submissions from PR firms/marketing representatives).
  • HaitiCyberCon does not accept product or vendor-related pitches. HaitiCyberCon will disqualify any product or vendor pitch.
  • HaitiCyberCon will disqualify incomplete submissions; complete your submission in its entirety.
    Your submission should clearly detail the concepts, ideas, findings, and solutions a researcher or speaking team plans to present.
  • Submissions that highlight new research, tools, vulnerabilities, etc. will be given priority.
  • Submissions that include White Papers will also be given priority.
  • Individuals may submit more than one proposal but each proposal must be submitted via a separate submission form.
  • Each submission must include detailed biographies of the proposed speaking team.
  • Submitters will be contacted directly if Review Board members have any questions about a submission.

Ready To Submit Papers?

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit full (and original research) papers (which is NOT submitted or published or under consideration anywhere in other conferences/journal) in electronic (DOC or PDF) format.
